An exaggeration perhaps, but this quote is consistent with the positive effect Independence Meals on Wheels route drivers have when they deliver meals to the people we serve–most of whom are elderly, disabled and/or homebound and unable to prepare their own meals. We occasionally survey our meal recipients and the highest ratings we receive on any aspect of our service–and the most frequent comments–relate to our route drivers!
